Impressions from the press conference for the upcoming premiere of the contemporary dance performance "The DistANCE" by Michal Rynia and Nastja Bremec Rynia. The performance is produced by MN Dance Company, GO! 2025 and co-produced by SNG Nova Gorica and Cankarjev dom Ljubljana.
Premiere: Wednesday, October 11, at 8:00 p.m. at SNG Nova Gorica.
Reprise: Tuesday, October 17, at 8:00 p.m.
The press conference featured dramaturg Ana Kržišnik Blažica, choreographers and concept authors Nastja Bremec Rynia, Michal Rynia, and members of the international dance ensemble MN Dance Company. They presented the new dance performance with passion and enthusiasm.
Ana Kržišnik Blažica shared her inspiring words: "Our body, which feels and experiences everything, definitely cannot experience distance from reality. With it, we overcome the distances between each other, we experience reality, we feel reality. The body is always here and now. And dance is an extreme form of feeling the body, overcoming the distance between each other and from oneself."
The premiere of "DISTANCE" will open the Gorizia dance festival Visavì, organized by the association Artisti Associati from Gorizia, Italy.
